Thomas L. Wagstaff

Thomas L. Wagstaff, age 58, of Kewanee, IL, passed on Monday, January 5, 2026 at his home.

          Thomas was born February 21, 1967 in Morrison, IL, the son of Chester and Carolyn (Presnell) Wagstaff.  As someone who loved to cook, he worked as a chef for banquets and large gatherings.  Thomas enjoyed fishing, old time country music, making people laugh, and being one of the boys on the farm.

          He is survived by his father, Chester Wagstaff; three children, Nichole Yeazel, Thomas Stanfill, and Royce Wagstaff; his sister, Twila Cooley; his niece, Samantha Ann Shugars; and two great nieces, StarrLynn and Jupiter.

          He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Ann Wagstaff and his uncle, David Presnell.

          A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
